The TIMELESS Initiative
The mission of TIMELESS is to reshape the future of constructions by developing sustainable, adaptable, and multi-hazard resilient structural systems for steel buildings. The project focuses on innovative solutions that are demountable, reusable, and designed to perform under extreme natural or man-made events. By integrating advanced materials such as High Strength Steel and Shape Memory Alloys, along with smart sensors for real-time monitoring, TIMELESS enhances structural performance, durability, and safety.
Our Mission
The TIMELESS consortium brings together academic institutions, industrial companies, construction firms, engineering consultancies, and innovative start-ups from across Europe.
This diverse team combines expertise in structural engineering, steel technologies, sustainable construction, and digital innovation.
Research partners offer advanced knowledge and testing facilities, while industrial and construction actors ensure practical applicability.
Start-ups contribute agile, forward-looking solutions, particularly in materials and monitoring systems.
